Dinosaur World celebrates 15th Anniversary with remarkable new exhibits and entertainment

Dinosaur World launches its 15th anniversary celebration with remarkable, new exhibits and activities based on the company’s core strengths and commitment to education, entertainment and customer service.  “Visitors get a rare look at some of the most feared predators ever to walk the planet,” says Marlene Svensson, General Manager of Dinosaur World.  “At the same time, Dinosaur World is one of the few theme parks in Central Florida where tourists can escape the pressures of today while exploring the area as it existed thousands of years ago.” Founded in 1998, Dinosaur World is one of the great, themed attractions of its kind.  Here is a glimpse of the shows and exhibited being uncovered at the “Dinosaur Hall of Fame.” Premiere Interactive entertainment will premiere this summer.  Three highly entertainment and educational shows will make their debut to park guests. The first show, a walk around character based on a quirky paleontologist, will provide guests a-hands on tour of the all- new Exploration Cave where they will learn about fossils, bones and why fossil discoveries made my paleontologists are so important to you and I today. The second show, a “Dino Disguise” show asks guests to help our guide create the perfect costume to allow him/her to walk amongst the dinosaurs.  Guests will help pick the head, tail and feet of our fearless explorer who will within minutes be transported back in time to put the disguise to the ultimate test.  Will they be accepted by the herd or discovered and eaten as lunch? You’ll have to come out and see…. Next you will be invited to a game show style setting where you will be tested on everything dinosaur!  This fun filled, interactive encounter will allow kids of all ages to test their prehistoric knowledge in this impromptu dinosaur game show complete with prizes and praise galore.  Mammoth - Giants of the Ice Age Bigger is better when it comes to Mammoths!  At over 5,000 square feet, the open-air exhibit provides a snapshot of a migration pod of the giant creatures.  Known to roam in many areas across the world including North America, numerous sub species of mammoths lived throughout the ice ages .  The mystery of these remarkable beasts is highlighted in the species new spotlight at the attraction costing over two-hundred thousand dollar and including thirteen life size mammoths.  Exploration Cave The newly expanded Carnivore Cave Education Center provides an up-close look at the tools and experiments performed by a paleontologist in the field. The 5,000 square foot learning center features hands on activities, an interactive theatre and a complete dig site.  Dino Gem Excavation Diggin’ for gemstones is a must at Dinosaur World!   Pick a gemstone bag and you’re off to pan for gold or in this case fool’s gold, arrowheads, rubies, emeralds, crystals and much more.

Press Release: Dinosaur World holiday admission discount

Donate a toy and get half off admission

Dinosaur World will be donating new packaged toys to local charities this holiday season and visitors can help. We are already accepting toy donations. As an added bonus - visit Dinosaur World the first two Sundays in December (December 2nd, 9th) and receive 1/2 off admission with a new packaged toy.

• Donations in Florida will go to the Marine Toys For Tots Foundation in Tampa.

"This is a way we can spread some joy on several levels," said Marketing Director Nicole Randall. "We can help those donating toys with admission discounts and most importantly, we can help children in need."

Mothers free on Mother's Day at Dinosaur World

Sunday, May 13 is Mother's Day, and the roadside attraction Dinosaur World is letting mothers in free (when accompanied by a fully paid child admission).

So what happens if the "mom" is 80 and the "child" is 45? No problem! The 45 year old can pay the child's admission price, and the 80 year old is free. Not a bad deal!

Dinosaur World (http://www.dinosaurworld.com/) is roughly halfway between Walt Disney World and Tampa, along Interstate-4.
