Walt Disney World Hidden History

Our bestseller!

This book pays special attention to the inside jokes and hidden references to Walt Disney World’s past. Think of it as a guided tour through all four parks, pointing out all the artifacts and remnants from former attractions. You'll be astounded how many references remain! You will also be guided toward intentional tributes of Imagineers scattered throughout the parks.

Original Grimms: Highlights of the 1810 Manuscript

You have NEVER read these fairy tales. The Grimms's stories are different from most modern re-tellings, but even if you find a collection of Grimms' tales, you are reading translations of their seventh published edition. THIS book gives you translations, for the first time ever in English, of their very FIRST versions of the stories, and they are tremendously different. You'll learn why Cinderella's prince doesn't just look her in face. You'll see why Snow White started out as a story with a VERY different message. You'll understand how Disney's Tangled turns the moral of the story exactly backwards from the original. In addition to popular Grimms' stories (which also include Hansel and Gretel, Rumplestilskin, and Sleeping Beauty), this book also provides analysis of how Disney movies change the messages of Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid.

Unofficial Walt Disney World 'Earbook 2012

There was a lot added to Walt Disney World in 2012, including New Fantasyland (Under the Sea, Be Our Guest, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Storybook Circus), Test Track, Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, Art of Animation Resort, Tutto Gusto, Splitsville, and Celebrate the Magic. We bade goodbye to Snow White's Scary Adventures, the original Test Track, and the first version of Habit Heroes. Re-live the special events, additions, removals, and alterations with this yearbook-style volume designed to show, using hundreds of pictures, how rapidly the portrait of life at Walt Disney World changes. An index at the back will make finding information even years from now a breeze. 62 pages; full color. See preview pictures

Top Tips for Visiting Disneyland Paris

Visiting Disneyland Paris might seem like a daunting task for many Americans, especially if they do not speak French. It's easier than you think, however, to make your way from the airport to your hotel, and to navigate around the parks. All you need are a few "top tips"! This e-book provides the essentials. Anyone familiar with Disneyland or Walt Disney World won't need detailed information about rides, but they might want to know which attractions to prioritize or which to skip, and this book provides the answers. It's intentionally not an exhaustive resource. By design, it narrows down the advice to just the principles, concepts, and wisdom you'll need to make your own on-the-spot adjustments. By providing only the "top tips," the book lets you make informed decisions about where to go and when, but also keeps the elements of surprise and discovery intact on your vacation.
