Maps and photos of new Pirate's Adventure (Jack Sparrow game) at MK Adventureland

The Pirate's Adventure game has been testing this week in the Magic Kingdom. Here are some images of the signage, a few of the props, and all five of the maps they hand out with each mission.

Guide to A Pirate's Adventure--Treasure of the Seven Seas

A Pirate's Adventure: Treasure of the Seven Seas is a new interactive game at the Magic Kingdom scheduled to open in late Spring, 2013. 

We don't know ALL the details yet, but here is what we know so far:

• The game is free (included with admission to the Magic Kingdom)
• There are five games, not just one. Each game should take about 20 minutes to play.
• Each game has its own map. Players are given maps and playing cards for free
• Home base for the game, and distribution of maps and cards, is in the little stand-alone building once home to "Crow's Nest".
• Games are played by visiting a physical location in Adventureland and triggering an event
• Events are triggered by holding up an RFID-enabled card to a reader, which causes a physical event to occur (a chest opens up, an animatronic panther or parrot moves and speaks, etc). 
• Each event location is identified by a symbol.

There are 5 quests: Heads You Lose, Haven Defense, Blackbeard, The King’s Ransom, and Guardian’s Curse.
