Universal updates, May 2012

Everyone likes Islands of Adventure, right? They've added something new: an automated system for taking in-park photographs. Disney has PhotoPass, and Universal has long had photographers at the front of the park (and occasionally near the T-Rex in Jurassic Park). They now have a system that uses automatic cameras. You take a card, scan it at the waist-high reader, and then look at the cameras. They have an LED screen that counts down to zero, and then it takes your photo! Simple. You can buy it later.

We also took note of a few areas under construction.

We took a trip on Jurassic Park, the Ride:

I've not noticed these Harry Potter postage stamps (they are 'real') and the postcards before:

As usual, the Green Eggs and Ham eatery was closed for the afternoon, when we arrived. I'm not sure the green eggs look all that appetizing, however.
