The smaller of the two towers at Legoland Water Park is home to Twin Chasers, dual slides that let riders cruise down on inflatable tubes. They have more kick to them than you might be expecting based on outward appearances!
One tube is enclosed, and the other is open-air, but they both share one thing: the riders will find themselves riding high up on the walls of the tubes. So high that they might fear they are about to tip over (they aren't). That gives these slides a visceral thrill. Good thing, too, because the slides are otherwise not that remarkable. They aren't too fast or too steep or unexpected.
You can ride solo or in a raft built for two. Terrifyingly, you are allowed to launch your raft facing backwards for an extra thrill. I was too chicken to take this option, but younger and braver souls were taking full advantage of the opportunity on the day of my visit.
