The wave pool at Legoland Florida is not large by comparison to other parks, nor are the waves particularly big. But it suits the purpose just fine of a wave pool, and for many visitors, that's all they need.
The waves are not constant; rather, they cycle on and off every few minutes. They never reach a very high level - maybe 18 inches or so? This will be perfect for young kids, which is indeed the target audience of Legoland.
Like most features in Legoland, the wave pool has a LEGO themed element to it.
Be sure to take a few minutes to play with the interactive tables at the front of the wave pool. Move around gates to change the flow of water, shoot a water cannon at a fan to make a LEGO base spin, or block up fountains to make LEGO bricks float up a clear tube.
