Was this Ford photo op always here outside the park?
Back in March, they added the Fresh from Florida Greenhouse, in a structure previously used by Cypress Gardens as a butterfly exhibit.
The new exhibit is essentially an air-conditioned mini-land themed to farming and outdoor activities. But they had me at "air conditioned." As wonderful as Miniland is, it's brutal in the direct sunlight, and the coming summer will only be worse. I love this indoor exhibit. I also appreciated the butterfly LEGO sculptures at the end, which are a kind of tribute.
The nearby carousel has undergone changes since the opening weeks; the horses are no longer antique; they are now "LEGO" horses (not really, but they look like it), and there is a LEGO minifigure motif across the top.
This store in the main drag has been rethemed since the opening.
The park maps now include the Water Park, as you would suspect.
This structure near Coastersaurus is new; it has two sides selling different kinds of food/drink.
I've never paid much attention to the free Mindstorms robot programming you can do here, but there's one dedicated to Dr. Heartbeat and one to Adventure Bot. My 9-year old did the latter for the first time, and he's hooked.
Lastly, here's a view of the Legoland poncho, which I'd never seen before.
