Casey Jr's Coming Round the Track (pics)

The kid-friendly splash fountain coming to Storybook Circus is taking form more and more each day. This past weekend, the walls surrounding the construction zone retreated a few yards, revealing once again the stone wall (that doubles as a bench) which was here several weeks ago as well, when there was a different construction fence here. The moving of the fence has also unveiled something new: a sign for the interactive playground.

The theming is that of a circus train just arrived to the area. There are already train tracks in the area. The bathrooms are meant as a kind of converted roundhouse, and one set of tracks leads to where Casey Jr. will be.

As before, you can see the top parts of the playground poking through. Clearly the circus animals are going to be spraying us with "water" (kind of a gross though, actually, since most of it comes from their mouths and noses).

If you peek under the new construction fence, you can catch a glimpse here and there of the finished product.
