The Snow White dark ride closed forever on May 31, and many fans came to see it off in style, some riding dozens of times that last day.
A very special member of that group was Ben, an autistic individual (now 18) who has been riding this attraction regularly for the last ten years, because it was the ONE attraction that would bring him out of his shell more than any other. He had amassed thousands of rides, and the Cast Members knew him well.
For the ride's last day, Ben got a huge surprise: a private visit with Snow White, and then a journey with her on the dark ride.
Ben and his family were also the very last riders on the attraction when it closed at 10pm that day. His all-time total was exactly 3,500 rides on the attraction.
Go well, Ben, and go well, Snow White. We will miss you.
Here's how the attraction looked the next day:

Princess Fairytale Hall opens in late 2013
The DisneyParks blog reminds us that Snow White's Scary Adventures is closing on May 31, and offers the opening date of its replacement: late 2013.
"Located in the Castle Courtyard in the center of Fantasyland, Princess Fairytale Hall will be the new home for visiting royalty in the Magic Kingdom. The castle-like entrance will feature walls of stone and stained glass windows. The entrance will open into a large gallery – an airy space with a high ceiling and portraits of Disney Princesses. When it’s time for their audience with a princess, guests will proceed to an elegantly finished room to meet her. Princess Fairytale Hall is set to debut in late 2013."

Snow White's Scary Adventures - Photo Tour (pics without flash)
Snow White's Scary Adventures closed in the Magic Kingdom on May 31, to be replaced in the indeterminate future by a princess meet and greet (the Seven Dwarfs Mine Coaster will open nearby in 2014 to fill in the "Snow White" gap).
Now is as good a time as any for a photo tour, as we say goodbye to this attraction. Enjoy!
