Winter Haven, FL (June 21, 2012) – Its official.  The all-new LEGOLAND® Florida Water Park officially smashed the Guinness World Record for the most people keeping beach balls in the air.  It was released by Guinness that LEGOLAND Florida Water Park beat the previous record of 401 and broke the Guinness World Record for 1,294 bouncing beach balls in the air. The record breaking attempt took place on May 24, 2012 to celebrate LEGOLAND Florida’s all-new water park attraction, now open for families to splash into for a full-day of thrills.

LEGOLAND Florida offers families with children ages 2 through 12 with non-stop memory making fun with more than 50 rides, shows and attractions.  And now an all-new water park attraction to dive into just in time for summer. 

The best way for families to experience the ultimate LEGOLAND Florida adventure is through two new special ticket offers.  The first offer allows Florida residents to purchase an unlimited, 12-month Premium Pass to LEGOLAND Florida and the all-new LEGOLAND Water Park for just $159 plus tax for adults and $129 for children ages 3 to 12 and seniors, a savings of $20 per ticket.  Florida residents can purchase the Premium Pass at the front gate or online now through July 31, 2012

The second offer allows families to save $10 with the online purchase of a single-day combo ticket to LEGOLAND® Florida and the all-new LEGOLAND Water Park for only $77 for adults and $67 for children ages 3 to 12 and seniors.  Offer is available only online now through October 28, 2012.

The family fun will spread across 10 zones ranging from medieval thrills featuring knights, princesses and dragons to a high-energy, swashbuckling adventure starring water-skiing pirates.  Plus now, a splash-filled water park attraction, a “park within a park,” that includes a Build-A-Raft River, where guests can build their own LEGO® inner tubes and float down a 1,000-foot lazy river.  For the little ones, the DUPLO® Splash Safari is a toddler haven with perfectly sized slides and a zero-depth wading pool.  Guests of all ages can play for hours at the Joker Soaker water playground, a riot of brightly colored ladders, levers, pumps and slides of every length and type.  And a 583,000-gallon, crystal-clear wave pool and five slippery-fast water slides will thrill families all day long.
