President Obama and Mitt Romney to Visit Walt Disney World June 21-22

The President of the United States will be back at Walt Disney World again on June 22, 2012, for the NALEO conference (NALEO is the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials), and Mitt Romney will speak the day before, on June 21. Both talks will happen at the Contemporary Resort. The public will not be admitted to the talks.

The NALEO site says this about parking:

Parking Restrictions: Due to parking constraints, NALEO Conference Attendees
not staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be provided parking at the
Magic Kingdom. Please follow roadway signs located near the Magic Kingdom
Toll Plaza to the designated NALEO parking area. A shuttle bus service will be
provided exclusively for NALEO Conference Attendees between the Magic Kingdom
parking lot and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Please note that due to security
measures, we anticipate road closures leading to Disney’s Contemporary Resort
to be in place on Thursday, June 21 and on Friday, June 22. NALEO Conference
attendees staying at The Polynesian Resort may travel to Disney’s Contemporary
Resort via the monorail.

Thus, I think we can expect some changes for the way parking, transportation, and roads work on those days  for the regular visitors too.

Barack Obama last visited Walt Disney World on January 19, 2012 for a speech about tourism and an executive order to alter the visa program for international visitors.

Two visits to Walt Disney World in a calendar year is unprecedented for a sitting president.
