There may be a new interactive game coming to Adventureland - just rumored for now - called Pirates Adventure - Jewels of the Seven Seas. We don't know much about it; it might be restricted to just Adventureland. Will it include the Jungle Cruise? Maybe. We took a look to see if there is anything new. There are boxes scattered around that ride, but most of them have been there for a long time.
The FastPass Plus machine at the front has a twin at the loading dock (to catch anyone jumping into the line halfway).
There are boxes in the first part of the ride, right after "Inspiration Falls". One is on the right, the second on our left side.
The first elephant is missing!
The gorillas in the camp have always had props around, but now there are more than ever. And was that pith helmet always there in the water?
The lost safari has lots of boxes on the ground - but apparently they've been there since the 90s.
The "attacking natives" used to hide behind foliage until they stood up. For some reason, the foliage is cut and gone. And the figures didn't move on our trip. Both are definitely new.
It's the backside of water! Nothing new here, though. Also nothing new with the spitting elephant, but I'm a sucker for wide-angle shots.
Trader Sam has boxes by him, also! These have been here for years.
Conclusion: there MAY be changes coming to the Jungle Cruise, but it's not obvious there are any changes suggesting that. We may be looking at a longer time frame, maybe?
