"Many Languages" finale of Small World gutted and empty (pics)

Took a ride on Small World on 1/13 and saw to my surprise that the finale was just gone. After the "white" room came a room with nothing it in; just bare black walls and a few show lights.

It's a fair assumption that something new will go in here that ties in to the NextGen initiative. Maybe dolls that know your name and say something personal to you?

Here's how the finale used to look:

In the middle of all that was this sign:

Take a closer look. Doesn't that look like "Say what the crap?"

Hahaha - it really DOES!!

And that is so weird seeing it empty like that, after all these years. I like your tweet where you mentioned the possibility of it being like ET - lol.

I believe that means hello/goodbye in Thai, and is the greeting used by men, with a variant used by females.

It's generally spelled differently in English, but maybe in 1971 it was spelled like that in western translations.

The say what the crap sign was removed a long long time ago.

A moment of googling will show it's a Thai greeting.

More problematic, blank white walls. Even the most novice DIsney adventurer can't help but notice that. Why not put up a simple painted skrim while the new stuff is installed?

I do not know which is creepier-the blankness or the idea of dolls saying my name.
